Master Lighting Plan
A lighting master plan establishes design direction for future development through the use of standards, performance criteria, and layout guidelines of the lighting system. With the customer’s financial and performance goals in mind, the master plan organizes and prioritizes projects for future funding, and suggests the appropriate timing of each project.
A Master Lighting Plan from Atlantic Energy Concepts Inc. will help improve your bottom line. AEC performs a comprehensive lighting audit and analysis for your facility, interior and exterior to help you find appropriate methods for energy conservation. Concurrently, interviews with the customer are performed to determine their needs with regards to the lighting system’s performance and operations. Coupling the analysis of the existing systems with the needs of the customer, a master lighting modernization plan is developed, including detailed engineering, environmental and economic analysis of all recommended future lighting projects.
When a need outside of the proposed project schedule arises, the master plan can be referenced for the appropriate lighting guidelines for the specific area in question. Based on the guidelines established in the master plan, the customer can develop detailed construction drawings for implementation.
Our designs include a standardized approach to the proposed lighting system. This allows for standards of efficiency, as well as streamlined operations and maintenance. As an example, a simple design standard may dictate that all linear lamps be LED with a correlated color temperature of 4000K. Standards like these make it easy to efficiently maintain lighting throughout your facility and make life easier for your maintenance department. Limited choices mean less to stock, a nonexistent learning curve on installation and a completely coherent look and quality of light.
